Oh ! River
Until when shall we keep wandering ... ?!
Heat bakes our skin
Mud covers our way
Wind digs in the forehead
Hay sails in the eyes
On the hot stubborn rocks we shall end
One day, death shall crush us
We keep on walking, and the stretching shadows benumb us
So, we take shelter under their boughs
While their roots rewind in our veins
Hot and dry is what remains of blood
They cast a look to the strong sun hoping that
The sun might pity us
We implore the clouds that gathered their water yesterday
From our sap and come closer to us
We shake the breast of the dream and ask it for nectar , but no nectar.
The couds steal our sap
We keep on walking
And the sun heat burns our dream
And we keep on walking
And people, trees, and stones drink our water
And we keep on walking
Until when shall we walk aimlessly along the road?
Until when shall the extension steal us?
We've come to run after life that we don't want;
We've never chosen the day on which our steps began to its beat
We've never chosen life, but we've come so;
Nobody consulted us
What we need
We've been thrown in the distance and are galloping far away
This is life, my friend, what do you say?
All wishes diminish
Struggle has dispersed us as remnants in towns and villages
The body has been exhausted by climbing and sliding
colouring in the seasons.
Clouds spared
Heat went mad
Everbody asks for more, but in vain.
Life passes on, My friend, and we're still as a group,
and roads hand us to roads without any hope.
